Things to Do in Pensacola

Whitney and Hadley are thrilled to invite all their out-of-town family and friends to experience the best parts of Pensacola. If it’s been a while since you’ve been here, things are certainly different than they were even ten years ago. Below, find a curated list of the bride and groom’s favorite places to nosh, socialize, and libate.

Our Favorite Restaurants

Breakfast

Coffee Cup

520 E Cervantes St, Pensacola, FL 32501

A Pensacola Institution since 1952! Get your grits and greasy diner food. Open M-Sat, 6am-2pm

Ruby Slipper

509 S Palafox St, Pensacola, FL 32502

A taste of New Orleans in the Upside of Florida! Famous for their varieties of Eggs Benedict. Open 7 days a week 7am-2pm.

Lunch

Dog House Deli

30 S Palafox st, Pensacola, FL 32502

Gourmet hot dogs in every variety possible. Hadley likes their fried mullet, too!

Hub Stacy’s

312 E Government St, Pensacola, FL 32502

Located up the street from the Lee House, this is a great place to get sandwiches and other cafe fare. The Cuban Sandwich is delicious!

Lucy’s in the Square

301 S Adams St, Pensacola, FL 32502

A relatively new place on Seville Square (diagonal across the square from the Lee House), this place offers delicious small plates and flatbreads in a gorgeous courtyard. Perfect for beautiful spring days!

Dinner

Elbow Room

2213 W Cervantes St, Pensacola, FL 32505

Visit the dive bar where Hadley took Whitney after he proposed! It’s truly a hole-in-the-wall (and something of a drive, comparatively), but they have the best burger in town, as well as a delicious Thai flatbread that will knock your socks off.

Wine Bar

16 Palafox Pl, Pensacola FL 32502

Another frequent dining spot for the happy couple and another great place to get a burger, but the French Dip and Buffalo Chicken Sandwich are the bomb, too.

McGuire’s

600 E Gregory St, Pensacola, FL 32502

We’d be remiss if we didn’t mention this Pensacola institution. Kiss the moose, sign a dollar and hang it on any available space, and have some of the best steaks and burgers you’ll ever have in your life!

Our Favorite Watering Holes

Old Hickory Whiskey Bar

123 S Palafox St, Pensacola, FL 32502

The favorite spot of the Bride and Groom, this place features eclectic cocktails and a literal wall of libations.

Wine Bar

16 Palafox Pl, Pensacola, FL 32502

A mention under the dinner section, this place also is a great place to split a bottle of wine and watch the people on Palafox.

Perfect Plain / Garden and Grain

50 E Garden St, Pensacola, FL 32502

A two-for-one! Experience Pensacola’s brewery renaissance by visiting one of three breweries favorited by the groom. This one happens to be favored by the bride, too, as the back patio serves the most delicious traditional daiquiris you’ve ever tasted.

Odd Colony

260 N Palafox St, Pensacola, FL 32502

Around the corner from Perfect Plain, you’ll find one of Pensacola’s newest breweries. They pride themselves on going outside the box on beer, and finding new ways to delight your tastebuds. (They also serve wine, but that’s not as exciting.)

Pensacola Bay Brewery

225 Zaragoza St, Pensacola, FL 32502

Across the square from the Lee House, you’ll find the original brewery in Pensacola that kicked off this new trend. Pensacola Bay has a great selection of beers and

The Kennedy

1 S Palafox St, Pensacola, FL 32502

If you’re looking to swank it up, the Kennedy is a fairly-recent watering hole spot, brought to you by the folks who run Whiskey Bar. Their focus is more traditional drinks, twisted in unique ways.
